I need to update my blog with pictures from Nome and Anchorage. But I got home on the 10th of April. Luckily I was able to change my flight from a 5 hour layover in Seattle to a get off the plane, wait 30 minutes, get on the plane to Portland and get home 5 hours earlier than originally planned.
I also have great news! Instead of teaching 8th grade in Gambell, I'll be teaching 3rd grade!
I'm really excited to teach 3rd grade as I did my student teaching in 3rd grade, as well as spending almost every day with the current 2nd graders (who will be my class next year!) I know the kids and they are a great group of 12 students that I can't wait to get to know better and teach them!
I'll be working on a wrap up post in the next few days, and then I'll continue blogging when I return in August!
